The empennage sustained substantial damage at 1716 Pacific time when the airplane rolled backwards into a parked car. The airline transport pilot and five passengers were not injured. Visual conditions prevailed for the Part 135 operation. The pilot subsequently reported he had landed and was opening the passenger door when the airplane began rolling backwards and hit a parked car. He had not set the parking brake.
