At 1735 Eastern time, the airplane was substantially damaged during a forced landing following a partial loss of engine power while on final approach. The commercial pilot and one passenger reported no injuries. Visual conditions prevailed.
The airplane was descending to land when the throttle became unresponsive. The pilot attempted to add power, but no change occurred. He made a forced landing on a road and the airplane collided with trees. Post-accident examination confirmed structural damage to the right wing spar.
