At approximately 0730 central time, a Rockwell 690A was damaged when the pilot lost control during the takeoff roll from Wiley Post Airport. The pilot and passenger were not injured. During the takeoff roll, with approximately 1,250 feet of runway left, the left main landing gear tire failed and the airplane veered to the left and into a field.
