Bob started flying in High School when four-course ranges and GCA approaches were still operating. He obtained an electrical engineering degree and then resumed flying. He ended up as a CFI with Commercial, Instrument MEL & SEL ratings. His day job for 43 years was in avionics design/development and flight testing. He was involved in a wide range of avionic products from Autothrottles to Wx Radar and aircraft from Cherokee 140s to MD-11s. Now retired, he and his wife reside in SE PA.
