At about 20:00 PDT, a Cessna 152 lost engine power while cruising over Fresno. The student pilot was not injured in the forced landing in a parking lot but the airplane collided with a trailer. The flight originated about 16:45 from Hayward, Calif. The 21-hour pilot said he became lost and apparently confused east for west. He flew 117 miles in the wrong direction until the airplane ran out of fuel. He said he was unable to raise anyone on the airplanes radio.
